Description
This course is aimed at all those who work with adults in the care sector ensuring that they have the vital knowledge to promote the welfare of those in their care and keep them safe from harm.

Keeping adults safe should be a priority for everyone in care sector. In order to do this effectively all staff must understand their role in safeguarding adults from harm and should be confident and competent in doing so.

This regulation is supported by regulation 18 where providers must provide sufficient numbers of suitably qualified, competent, skilled and experienced staff to meet the needs of the people using the service at all times.

In line with the QCQ requirements this course covers the signs of possible abuse and neglect at the earliest opportunity and how to respond in a timely and appropriate way.
